Rare diseases are medical conditions that affect a small percentage of the population. Many of these diseases are chronic, progressive, and life-threatening.
Genetic Disorders are a type of rare disease that result from abnormalities in a personβs DNA. These disorders can be inherited or caused by mutations that occur spontaneously.
Both rare diseases and Genetic Disorders often require specialized care and support, and advancements in genetic testing and therapies are key to improving diagnosis and treatment options.
